Ask me anything about the Channel Islands — hotels, events, itineraries, getting there.

Longueville Manor is one of those places that renders normal hotel reviews inadequate. It is a Norman manor house, dating in part to the 13th century, surrounded by 15 acres of gardens that the family tends obsessively. The kitchen grows much of its own produce. The restaurant holds 3 AA Rosettes. The service is warm without being formal. It is, in the truest sense, the best of the Channel Islands in a single property.
